Earth is a grounding force, a source of inspiration, a home. We come from it; we return to it. Without it, we are lost. Anyone who contemplates the Earth—its breathtaking vastness, its perfectly balanced ecosystems, the unfathomable timescales of its genesis; anyone who truly absorbs these dimensions—cannot help but feel our own smallness. We have everything to learn from it. Yet, we too rarely listen to it in earnest.
